Stinging Scorpion and Electric Guitar Clusters

Hi All,

I tried to do something a bit differnet (for me) and do some clusters with a bit of HA background.

Bad weather has been a considerable constraint, but I don't think you need quite as much for these types of objects.

Capture details here:

I'd appreciate constructive critisism on the catpure and the processing as I'm looking to improve.

Note, this was taken in my backyard in Brisbane.

Beautifully done. Lovely colours, composition, processing. Pinpoint stars. As Strong Mike said, enchanting contrast between the various elements, including the two clusters, the H-alpha, and the beautifully coloured field stars.

Mysterious spikes coming out of just one star at bottom right. Even so, nothing to fix.

Best,
MnT

Many thanks all. No idea about those spikes on the star; haven't see than before with this scope.

I'll give this another go on M46/47
