Hi Ken,

Have you looked at the Williams/Orion/Long Perng "Super planetary LER" 6mm? Andrews used to sell the Long Perng version: worth checking. The Orion-badged version is available at Bintel, and the Williams at Andrews, for progressively more money. 20mm eye relief, and nice sharp wide-field image. I have the LP version of the 5mm and 3mm, and they hold their own with the Vixen lanthanium for sharpness, but with a wider fov and to my eye better colour (the Vixen seemed too yellow for me). They aren't put to shame by my TV 3-6mm Nagler either.

Oh, and you can get ES eyepieces in Oz, at http://www.frontieroptics.com.au/Eyepieces.htm - but they don't have a 6mm, only a 6.7mm 82-degree one.

All the best,

Dean
