You may notice some logos at the bottom of the home page. They include some of the really big players in Australian geospatial and remote sensed data and are behind ArcGIS and ENVI product suites. I don't know what help they are providing but their resources and expertise are considerable. I mentioned this development to our geospatial data officer and she was pleased but not surprised. She knows the founder of esri and says he is a really nice person.

Esri Australia is the official local distributor of IDL, which is a registered trademark of Harris Geospatial Solutions for their Interactive Data Language software, used by astronomers worldwide. They provided in-kind support (particularly at the start of the CFN service) for the licensing of IDL on the CFN server, to download the vast amounts of data and generate the content for the CFN website.

I'm still not getting location labels on the cloud Map.
Makes it a little difficult to work with.

Animation controls to display the last 12 hours of satellite images, ability to show/hide location labels, and the remembering of user settings complete the update of the Satellite page.
