NGC 6188 in NB

My turn to add to NGC 6188

This is my 2nd all NB image

NGC 6188 is an emission nebula located about 4,000 light years away in the constellation Ara. The bright open cluster NGC 6193, visible to the naked eye, is responsible for a region of reflection nebulosity within NGC 6188. NGC 6188 is a star forming nebula, and is sculpted by the massive, young stars that have recently formed there.

NGC 6164 also created by one of the region's massive O-type stars. Similar in appearance to many planetary nebulae, NGC 6164's striking, symmetric gaseous shroud and faint halo surround its bright central star near the bottom edge.
This view spans about 5 Full moons.

Lovely framing but please rotate it 90 degrees clockwise as it's hurting my neck!
I reckon you could punch up the contrast a tad, looks a bit flat on my monitor.
Nice image though

Usually don't go for NB images but this one is very striking, well done, I like the framing {looks like an eagle to me diving with talons out, wings back } detail and color.....superb

Hi Andy

I thought the contrast looked good on my monitor, but yes, I’m starting to get used to processing NB images. It’s very different compared to Rgb. But each image I do, I get better at it.

Thanks for the responses atmos, code monkey and Beren.
