Current "Best" Planetary Camera?

With 'Opposition Season' underway thoughts turn to planetary imaging. Every few months we seem to see yet another camera released, does this mean last year's 224 is obsolete? What is the current state of the art planetary imaging camera? High resolution, must be mono? Is it the ASI290MM, or a 183, or ? Cooling not really required or yes it is?

I’m stcking with my 174mm. It provides good clean data at a good resolution. I have seen a few images taken with a 290 but with my focal length on a C14 I would be stretching the practical use of one. I don’t believe there is a need for a cooled camera.
