Creating a master dark from 20 dark frames?

Hi,
I am currently sitting in my room at Ayres Rock taking darks. How do I make a master dark for each time interval and does this mean that when I do I can get rid of the 20 dark images to free up some space. I am using a SBIG 8300m and capturing using MaximDl. I normally use DSS to load all my light frames and then load all my darks. Could I just load a single master dark indtead?

CCDSoft makes dark and light masters easily and quickly (and the Dark master is dark and bias combined).

Can't say enough positive about CCDStack... makes DSS look like an old Commodore 64 programme

Does CCDSoft also help motivate you to take Flats?
Hope so.

CCDstack is the easy program to use for making master darks.
I use sigma reject as the combine method.

And yes once you have a dark master you can get rid of your individual darks.
