1st Light FSQ 106

After the wet season, grandkids, retirement and my closest friend getting oesophageal cancer and acting as his carer after his operation ( so far a great result ) , and some technical problems, I finally had a chance to use my Tax after purchasing it 6 months ago.

This is total of 48 5min subs Ha,RGB
.
I had great difficulty developing this as the star colours were very difficult to achieve. Not happy as yet so any ideas would be more than welcome

Not used to f5 I think I need some shorter subs for star colour.
Anyway, here it is.

Great field. Very deep. The data is good and in focus by I reckon you need to repro it. It's a bit clipped at the moment on your bright stars

I see your camera has 9um pixels. You'll definitely get value out of doing large dithering and drizzle integration in PixInsight when you stack. I have 7.8um pixels with mine and it works well.

The red is pushed quite far right in the histogram - you'll need to dial that back quite a way.

Nice field and focus!

I did use large dithering and drizzle in Pix but could not get good colour when combining channels. I wanted to use my Moravian 16200 with the Tak but I blew the power supply and had to use my Atik 11000m hence the larger pixels.

Thanks Lewis, I did overdo the Ha when adding to the RGB but the revision appeals more. I will take more subs with shorter integration just for RGB stars when I get a chance.
I do love this Tak, sharrrrp.

I can't login to Astrobin at the moment to post a larger revision

Thanks Lewis, I'm in SA at the moment looking after a friend who just had a big op, when I get home I will get more data. The HA came out really well so I might get more narrowband but like you I do prefer RGB
