In passing, I recently picked up, a cheap EQ2 from Astro Pete's, $39!, (at that price I had too) and now I want something to put on it
Preferably a refractor with tube rings, as I already have two dobies. If you have one near the Sunshine Coast collecting dust, that you'd wouldn't mind going to a good home, I'd like to hear from you.

In hindsight, I should've picked the mount with the 1/4" thread mount, then added a motor for some barn door style photography but I was caught by surprise that they even existed! It's a bit too far to drive to swap it. If I cant get a cheap OTA I'll do the barn door thing.
