Moon Pics with Cheap Reflector

Hey Guys ,

just bought a scope on e-bay the other day Its a 3 inch reflector & the model is Pheonix 76700 i think , it was only $ 80 bucks delivered but surprisingly good optics !

Given the stand is a little wobbly and the design is a bit tricky to "centre" objects - the scope produces surprisingly good images!

Im using an older iPhone5 attached to a camera - adapter on the scope with a shutter - realise cable but haven't had a chance to use that yet

Thank you for welcoming me to you're warm Forum!

Kind regards

Yes but people believe the hype when you are told you need to spend thousands on gear, you don't.

I am a believer in the fact that the gear is only as good as the person using it, and you have clearly shown what can be done, and, I am willing to bet that in a month YOU look back on these as poor images when you yourself improve on them 100% after experimenting and trial.

Well done

The mount only wobble because so far you have not done this
