Tarantula in HOO

Another Tarantula I'm afraid. I loved Diego's recent pic here and so thought I'd have a go at a similar field of view. This one in HOO.

About 2 hours with either filter using an ASI1600MM-C on an RC8 + EQ6.

Higher res on Astrobin here.

My apologies to Diego for copying his field of view, and also my congratulations to him on the well-deserved Astrobin IOTD for his picture!

Thanks for looking.

Paul

We just watched Thor 2. Looks like a scene from the movie. Excellent! Wonderfully dynamic.

Thanks Mike and Trish. I suspect my version cost quite a bit less to make too

Pretty spectacular shot Paul. Really crisp detail. Possibly you could push the green a little more to add a bit more colour to the central region.
