Wind and poor seeing today, but managed to get out there anyway.

BTW for all you solar fellow imagers - Awesome work I wish IIS had a like button because I really appreciate the effort you all put in to take these fantastic images and I do see them all, but am not much of a commenter!

Such a different view compared to WL Jonathan - so glad you managed to get out despite the conditions.

Do you add the "UV false colour" of CaK to personal taste or is there a defined process?

Thanks Jonathan, I hadn't realised that you could view through these filters, I thought they were photo only.

It's not a great view! It is possible to make out some detail, but age is a big factor. Apparently kids have much better ability to see at the UV end of the visible spectrum.
