Clear skies over Terroux

Well, nothing to the standards displayed in this forum section really ..buuut it kinda shows the feelings I had on the night while my imaging gear chugged away, for over 17hrs in the end, staring at one spot

Nice ones Mike..... and good job with the light painting. I always find it hard to wrap my head around writing backwards for that sort of thing. S always gets me.

well a-c-t-u-a-l-l-y, at a dec of -31deg it tracked vertically for much of the time so dome nudges were much less necessary, even managed 45min kips in between

Mate!!! it took me about 7 ot 8 tries, running back and forth from the camera to the dome in the dark, dropped the torch, tripped over some irrigation pipe hidden in the grass and my writing ran into the dome twice
