CHDK - can I....?

I've only just read about this is another thread - how exciting. I plan to check my model camera and give it a burl.

One question though...currently my camera will go to 15 seconds on manual but the ISO will only go up to 100 or so when I do that. Will CHDK allow me to run the camera at 15secs with 3200 ISO?

thanks everyone

cheers

niko

You should be able to increase your exposure time to 59 seconds.
Each hack is different though. Some cameras get more and better add ons than other models.
I hope you hit the jackpot on yours.
And you won't ruin your camera if it doesn't work. The all the files are kept on the SD card. You boot manually from the card each time.
Keep us updated on how you go. Please.

It should work (providing your camera is on the list)
CHDK is very cool, but I found it drained my battery quickly. You really need a plug in power supply so you have plenty of time to experiment.
The superfast shutter speeds, and scripting is also worth a look.
