You gotta love Google Maps, found where the moon was rising, traced a line west and looked for somewhere with a clear horizon. Forgot about the Dandenong ranges though, which neatly blocked the moonrise. I don't think I would have seen it through the gloom anyway.

Now if only it was visible when it was just above the Rialto or Eureka! That would have been an amazing photo! Nice shots anyway
