Mars Saturn 2nd April

SPX350 F39.1, PGRFlea3, Baader RGB filters.

Same fair to avg seeing, Barbados has not reached Brisbane (and never will!). Some reasonable results for Mars considering but standard results for Saturn. As the planets rise higher the seeing just deteriorates.

Mars 1437hrs UT
Mars gif 1213-1437hrs
Saturn 1511hrs.

Thanks, John.

Nice shots, anyway, even with mediocre seeing.

I know what you mean about the seeing, by the way, having been out the last two nights aiming at the same targets - as soon as the targets reach zenith and slip westward toward the city, the seeing deteriorates rapidly (or so it seems to me).

Barbados, or not, you have reached the resolution limit of your scope.
Very impressive! Better seeing wouldn't give you significant resolution improvement, but it would help control diffraction artefacts.
