second moon shots

Hi all,
I took this photo through my 4.5 inch newt with a 25mm plossle eyepiece and my 12 mega pixel camera phone!!!! I am amazed at the detail I can get using this setup! Tried to get a shot of Jupiter but my hand is too shaky and blurs the image to much but i am having good luck with the moon

Pretty good Danial, given your equipment. Stick to it and you will get even better pictures of the Moon. Planets are a bit trickier and probably beyond the scope of your current set up. Still, give it a try, you could be lucky.

Cheers,

Eric

This is called Astrophoneography™.

Might I suggest one of the Orion Steady Pix adapters. I use the universal one and it holds the eyepiece perfectly still. A bit of fiddling about to get it aligned though.
