Good News for Bretti, Gloucester Area

The Land and Environment Court has squashed the plans for an Open Cut Coal mine in the Gloucester Area. This is a major win for the Gloucester residents opposing it on environmental grounds. As a result, we will not have to consider air borne dust in the valley and surrounding area, pit light pollution, truck or train movements, etc.
If you have ever seen the coal dust hanging in the air in the Hunter Valley you can appreciate what it does to Seeing, and your lungs.

That is good news.
Beautiful area, stopped for a swim many times.
When I head down to hunter valley It stinks to see such hazy skies. And for what? Foreign cash.....

Steve, Bretti is great for more than swimming, like as a dark site camping spot. But i guess you have places closer to Tamworth, like Chaffey Dam.
