Karl,
I wouldn’t bother upgrading your scope soon just get a new mount , plus. EQMOD,BYEOS , Stellarium scope, Stellarium and your done
Incredible images !!
Yes Startools is a great program and easy to navigate and get good results even in bortle 8 skies where I live in Sydney
Heading down the coast today for 4 or 5 days and hoping to capture some images if the weather is kind to me
Karl
Forgot to mention the most important thing if you upgrade soon - PHD2 autoguiding !!
Software is free, all you need is an Orion 50mm mini guide scope which replaces your finderscope ( get the one with helical focuser) a ZWO ASI 120mm monochrome guide camera and a 5m USBA to USBB cable
When you start guiding at your dark site believe me you won’t sleep , you will be up all night every night when it’s clear
I was totally stoked capturing 5 minute subs with tac sharp stars
Cheers
Clear Skies
Martin
