MCG2019 (The Tiger)

Located in the constellation Puntauris the Magellanic Cloud Galaxy located near the Milky Way. Classified as a dwarf galaxy measuring at a mere 171 m x 146 m and contains a family of approximately 100,000 stars. Although small it is renowned for it's giant mass crushing any opposing celestial objects that may cross its path. MCG2019 is visible with the naked eye from the Southern Hemisphere, about 12° above the greater western horizon during the month of September.
