Quite an eclectic collection you have assembled Derek.

In #1 is that a Mangrove Heron.

Love the Sooty Oyster Catcher in #2.

I’m guessing you have a yellow-tailed black cockatoo in #3?

Lovely detail in the bird of prey in #4 – not seen one of these before.

Nice shooting Derek and thanks for these lovely views.

Cheers Dennis.Yes that's an immature Mangrove Heron down here they are often on the Mudflats with the Black Bittern.Yes Yellow-tailed blacks which return to this bird bath every year often with a young one.The bird in 4 is an immature Black-Shouldered Kite.

There are some great shots in there, I really like the bee hives, and that young scruffy bird (maybe a blue heron?).

Thanks Tim from what I,ve looked up its the Dark Morph of the Eatern Reef Egret we have the white morph as well.
