Question 300D CMOS specification needed.

Would someone point me in the direction of a specifications sheet for the cmos sensor of the Canon 300D.

I can find lots of blah blah, but very little meat. Yes I know how big it is and how many pixel, effective or otherwise. What I want to know is who made it, ie what brand, what is it's effective dynamic range ( not just it's number of bits - yes 12 bit), well depth, noise characteristics, QE, yadda yadda.

All the really useful information that seems to be a state secret somewhere.

Cheers and please excuse my grumpiness, it's been a long and fruitless search

OK, found out that Canon make their own CMOS and are very closed mouth about it's details but there is some real detail out there in cyberspace somewhere.

Thanks Bert, that's fantastic. Exactly what I've been looking for. Unfortunately it doesn't match up with my existing results. Back to the laboratory for me I wish I'd asked 6 weeks ago.

I've also found Christian Buil's Astrosurf site has good info as well.
