A few of you may remember am earlier project of mine to build a beam splitter for an EP\Camera system. The idea being to put it on the guide scope to make it easier to find suitable stars. It used a cubic prism from a video projector to give the two light paths. It worked in a perfunctory way the main problem being to keep it all stable and solid.
I came across a new bigger cubic prism recently that was not so alignment critical and decided to have another go. This time I got a bit more serious with construction and it is now functional and solid.
