Some interesting Moon/Jupiter conjunction shots

Well, viewing conditions up here in FNQ are not particularly good this week.. more rain & cloud forecast for the week...

Stepped outside to see a beautiful lunar/jupiter conjunction & some interesting halo effects due to the moisture in the air...

Got the camera out on a tripod to see if I could do it justice... whilst I was at it, some clouds rolled in which, actually produced some interesting shots..

I was really just messing around so, to try & pull Jupiter out alongside the brightness of the full moon, my ISO setting is high so, images are a bit grainy...

Not fantastic shots by any stretch but, interesting.... in the last one, I've tried to capture the halo effect.. there are artefacts there due to it being overexposed but, it did capture the halo...

Thankyou for looking

If you can make cloud look good , you're welcome to keep them up north.
Had a look outside earlier and the conjunction is quite speccy and they will get closer together during the night.
