And I got the tablet from Harvey Normal at Ryde..they are not bad either..they giy I deal with is great.

Yep they are good Alex, especially if they know you're a long-standing member of the community, and no dill. I knew Mike Smith when the shop started in Hunter Arcade.

The fact that I am a dill and a mug would be apparent to them and so we can say they are also kind to take the time to help me.
I never met Mike but Mrs Smith kindly drove me and my new 12 inch home..she said she would not see me struggle home with it on the train.

Yes I like to reward good service with loyalty.
If you find a decent human I say support them and give them good reason to be decent.

I found continuous loyalty does help in the long run
My last big purchase from Bintel has some great pricing on all types of gear
Astronomical products should never get to the stage of a retail discount war like petrol and other consumer items or bargain basement discounts !!
It is a specialist technical niche market and it should remain that way irrespective of China and SE Asia holding the major manufacturing arm of the industry
Comments welcome !

I’ll second that. I bought my HEQ5 Pro from them. Bill was great to deal with and really encouraging. I went back this weekend to buy a laser collimater. Again I dealt with Bill. I asked if there was a difference between the one they we’re selling and the one AstroAnarchy ( another good company to deal with ) were selling because there was a price difference. They said it was the same thing and that they would price match it for me. I declined because I didn’t feel it was right and I didn't mention it in order to get a discount. The fact that they offered rather than coming up with excuses as to why they charged more was enough for me to pay full price. A great group of people !
