quick n dirty

Very quick and very dirty process of current target, NGC 1365. approx 9hrs integration RGB. Still need Luminance data but needed to see progress as I haven't done any processing for a while.

RC8, NEQ6, Moravian G2 2000

WOW!

That is impressive for such a small target.

Your image is very very well done.

Keep them coming Shane, and we can all learn from you!

Really nice. That's a tiny object. You've brought out the spiral arms really well.

Quick n dirty ? 9 hours ?

Very nice, Shane, especially without any Lum.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Chris, "quick n dirty" was referring to the processing not the capture. lol. I actually captured 12 hrs of data often under less than ideal conditions. Also intend on at least 12hrs of useable data for luminance.

Once the rest is collected I will reprocess the RGB and add Luminance for a final result.

Cheers Shane

Must be tough chucking out 3 hours of subs ...
Its a great image of what I'd call a tough object.
What are you processing with?

I usually deliberately capture at least 10-12 subs more than I plan to use for an image, so that I have the best possible data I can.
All processing is done with PixInsight mate. Absolutely love the software, it has made processing images much more pleasurable than trying to use PS. My results are much more pleasing.
I'm not sure I'd call this one a tough target, I was getting quite good detail in all channels with 5 min subs, but thanks for the compliment, I'll take it

Shane
