Rather than dwell on healthy lifestyle choices, my top three "office window" views would be

1) Being under the Moon's shadow over Antarctica
2) The Leonid Shower of 2001 (3000 per hour)
3) Blue Plasma Jets from the top of a very active thunderstorm going into space.

Sorry...no UFO's

As for the crew...not so easy...well.... inexpensive as your fuel burn goes up with payload. Actually I am a little surprised the likes of Slater and Gordon have not already launched a class action for crew.
Wow, it never occured to me that jet liners were affected by radiation.

The cosmic rays follow the Earths magnetic field so high latitudes are more affected.
Flight paths that go over the poles gives you more exposure, i.e. Sydney to Sth America will fly over the Sth Pole, and London to Japan would fly over the Nth Pole.

For the casual traveller as Peter said the exposure is no more than a Chest X-Ray, for cabin crew doing it daily it can be an issue.

One other danger from radiation exposure is Radon gas that is found in underground carparks and basements, depending on the type of rocks below the surface, granite being the most affected.

Isn’t he just executing the capitalist ideology that we all aspire to?

The public interest doesn’t get a look-in.
