Just my luck

Its been a very cloudy, wet season here in Cairns, so I have not been able to do much stargazing. Nevertheless, I have entertained myself by looking at a variety of birds in a tall tree some 100 meters away and by doing some solar projections when weather permits. At least the gear is being used for something.

I ordered a 12mm Pentax EP this morning. They are not great for Astronomy, but are good for terrestrial views.

This afternoon, the tree was cut down.
