Difference between G star-EX and G star-EXC

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone could clarify the key differences betweeen the G-star EX and the G-star EXC.

Looking at Steve Masseys website I could see both appear similar but that the EXC also uses a hand controller? Im also not entirely clear what the hand controller allows but I'm assuming some form of on-screen menu system to avoid need for computers to control the unit??

Appreciate any feedback anyone may have and any experience with using the units.

Thanks,
David

G-Star EX/C

Hi David,

The only difference is the hand controller that comes with the EXC. Both the EX & EXC model have menu buttons on the back of the camera unit that allows you to control the features.

The benefit of the hand controller (EXC) is that you won't be bumping or moving the scope or camera while navigating the GStar menu. You could also avoid this problem by using the computer control cable (on the gstar website there is a diagram to make this cable yourself).

Cheers,

Mick
