Wow.... thank you all for such positive feed back. And thank you to all that have commented on my work to date. Whether it be critiquing what I’ve produced that has driven me do things better or sharing your amazing sucesses that has given me benchmarks to try and achieve. I really appreciate this community and the people in it. Now time to take what I’ve learned so far and aim higher
Colin - Thank you also. The star colour in the raw files are not much better than in the final image. The STC Duo is a dual narrowband filter which, as with other narrow bands, really strips the colour of most of the stars. Sampling the individual stars in Photoshop does show small colour variance such as 245,245,247 for the RGB respectively for a blue star so I could attempt to process them seperatly. That’s probably part of the next level I need to take my imaging to.
