Sh2-101 in HST

This is my first image post to IIS - I hope that I've done it all correctly! Everything went like a breeze for this image, my short focal length refractor is back on the mount and how easy life is again!!

The blue loop bottom right of the Tulip has been questioned on another forum as it's not visible on the DSS2 data - It's definitely there in my OIII stretch! I welcome your thoughts on the image.

Details

Nice detail and great colour, Sara! The Tak Petzvals are fantastic scopes for widefield work and you're using it to good advantage.

Cheers,
Rick.

Thanks very much folks for looking and taking the time to comment.

I've spent the last 7 months with a long focal length scope on the mount, it's great to have the 'little one' pressed back into service!!!

Fantastic image. You really did well here and also got a very pleasing colour palette which is half the battle in narrowband imaging.
