Mars map, 2020

I tried creating my first Mars map using WinJupos on some of my images taken this year. My images varied in quality which made it a bit more difficult, and the exposure/colour/albedo also changed across the images, even though I took them at pretty much the same location in the sky, same camera and sharpening settings.

After importing it into Photoshop, I used the healing brush tool to smear over the discontinuities between images to produce this. Just don't look too close

That's great Andrew. Looks real good. You could map it to a sphere and make an animation

Well done Andrew, a very nice map of your Mars images a lot of processing effort to go to but worth it.

Thanks all, I thought it would be easier than it turned out to be

I did try creating a rotating image, but the 0/360 degree line was a huge discontinuity and looked pretty bad
