Want everyone to see how mean and nasty I am. So there.
Edit: As per Suzy's request, my user name is a combination. Bloodhound was my CB-Radio callsign back in the late 80's and then when I got my first computer I was 31.

Bart is my name and Bartman is my nickname. Hence Bart Simpson. I quite like that pic of Bart - its a pic of the cover from Nirvana's Nevermind album- (oh and I like the Simpsons too! )
Bartman
woot!!!! I passed the 1000 post mark
I've been wanting to do a thread like this for ages and now you've beat me to it Richard.
My thread was going to ask about usernames, some really interesting and strange usernames here- like renormalised for instance.. why do you call yourself that Carl.. why.. why .
If you don't mind Richard, I think it would be fabulous if people can explain their usernames also
I can't wait to find out, should be an interesting thread.

The pic on my profile page is my youngest son in wet season in Zambia... on the phone telling his mum (who as in Australia) that dad was looking after him just fine!!
My new one is a rendition of the Lorenz Attractor .. a phase space diagram applicable to a chaotic system (like the weather). The trace which draws this pattern, never crosses any of the previous paths already drawn … in spite of the drawing complexity .. amazing stuff!
The "Initially Sensitive" title is one of the key hallmarks of such a system and if the initial conditions change, chaotic behaviour results.
Am I, and all life-forms, the result of chaotic processes ?
Mine is Io. The reason I have this is because I find the colours of the image absolutely astounding. Plus it's also part of one of the wallpapers I use on my iMac with Mission Control
