Thank goodness for celestial mechanics

There has been a lot of interest about Venus leading up to and including inferior conjunction. The great thing is that after inferior conjunction you get to see the phases change in reverse.

Taken today with my Celestron 6SE and ZWO camera. Please be extremely careful if you try and image Venus close to the Sun. Not for the fainthearted.

It was a lovely view through the eyepiece. Razor thin crescent 0.2% illuminated. 57".7 in diameter.
