Solar Activity 4th June 2020

Showing the new AR 2765 and sunspot(!) in CaK and H alpha.
Also the older AR near mid disk. Proms to follow.
I've colourised the H alpha AR detail and provide a B&W for comparison.

CaK using DIY CaK filter/ ED80/ x1.6 Barlow/ ASI 1600
Ha using a DS SM60/ ED80/BF15/x1.6 Barlow/ ASI 1600
Processed in Firecapture/ AS3!

I have similar Ha surface images taken with a single stack SM60/ED80 for comparison if anyone's interested.
Enjoy.

solar activity 4th June 2020 - the proms

Prom images taken with the single stack SM60/ED80/x1.6 Barlow/ ASI1600.
Processed in FireCapture, AS3!, Corono and ImPPG.
The very faint prom was impressive but didn't come out as well as a reduced JPG
Enjoy!

Thanks David.
Well worth checking out - I seem to have caught a small flare and there seems to be some activity between the sunspot and the edge....more spots to come???
