Takahashi CN-212 English Manual

I've scanned and uploaded a PDF version of the CN-212 English manual here if anyone is interested. I couldn't find one online so I got a hard copy shipped from the US and scanned it. It's a 6MB PDF file.

Hi Marc

Thanks for the heads up; although I don't have a CN-212 () I did have a look through the Manual just out of interest.

What I did notice was the Tube Holder on Page 7 - do you have this?

If so, I wonder if it fits the Mewlon 210 OTA with an OD of 244mm?

Cheers

Dennis

Yes, that's the clam shell that comes with the scope. Should fit the Mewlon. Similar size.

Thanks Marc, I just compared the tech Specs in the Tak Mewlon 210 Manual and the CN-212 Manual that you uploaded.

Looks like:
  • M210 OTA Dia. = 244 mm.
  • CN-212 OTA Dia. = 243 mm.
I might give Claude a call and see if Tak recommends the CN-212 Tube Holder for the Mewlon 210 given the 1 mm difference in specs.

Cheers

Dennis

The felt might cushion it a bit tighter but 1mm is not that much IMHO.

Nah - wouldn't want to be responsible for any Anglo-French hostilities.
