I’ve reconsidered the details of this sale because although removing extra items bought separately does make it more affordable it also leaves me trying to sell some items that are really quite specific to the scope which would not sell easily. It is mandatory therefore after all to include these and adjust the price accordingly.
The sale now includes all of the following items:
152mm f8 OTA with LZOZ optics and 97% strehl with saddle and rings;
Top of the line Starlight posidrive motor focus unit and controller for the 3.5” starlight feather touch focuser;
Riccardi field flattener good for APS-C and H size
Scopeguard custom built hard case;
Full telegizmos cover;
I’d throw in a few very useful extra bits and pieces that have no value on their own, but do with the telescope.
A common question seems to be what is the weight of the scope. The basic OTA is I think 13kg but fully loaded with everything including my QHY12 it is around 17kg. I use it on an EQ8 Mount. I can say the old EQ6 pro is insufficient.
All of the above would easily cost over $16000 new today without shipping and duty.
