Intervalometer for 5D Mark II

I think that the same intervalometer will work on the Canon 40D and 5D Mark II - can anyone confirm?

I'm pretty sure I used my after market ebay one (that I use on my 40D) on Fred's 5D Mark II when I borrowed his camera at IISAC.

Just want some confirmation...

Planning my shopping list for June..

40D and 5DII have the same remote socket.
