eta carinae nebula

Coolhandjo inspired me to have another bash at eta carina I took it last night (full moon) with 110 30s subs . Using my unmodified mirrorless camera on my 300mm lens with lots of gaffa tape to stop unwanted movement. I think I'm getting there. I've purchased an 80ed refractor and I'll use this with a 0.5x reducer soon.

I welcome comments on how to improve on taking NGC3372.

Cheers Kanga

Nice and rich! Good framing (not easy to do on this target as its busy! What camera did you use? BTW I use Photoshop Camera Raw Filter option to remove halos with the dedicated halo slider. You could give that a go and you would have halo free. Full moon! No filter? lucky the moon is almost opposite and low to Eta Carina now - Nice close up shot. yeah 30 sec about it if full moon an no filter - good detail for those subs.

Hi Paul,
I'll give the halo slider a go. I used a mirrorless sony A7.
