Buying CS 6

My son has just had grant money approved to make a documentary of the restoration of a historic monument that was destroyed in the flood.(I've done six months filming of data for him). Its taken that long for the powers that cut out them money to approve it.Anyhow-This is my son's first major paying job-he's just done two years in Film and T.V editing, another year to go.

Part of the budget he has been given,he submitted that he needed CS6,and all that's approved too.Being a student I am thinking he could buy it at a student rate.Any suggestions of how he can get it at a student rate and what its likely to cost,he's allowed the full price-so if he can get it at a lower rate,he can use the balance in other areas of documentary-(like pay dad some fuel money-unlikely)

I'll post some pics from start to finish if anyone interested. Thanks for any pointers
