IC 2944 (central region)

Imaged the Running Chicken over the last couple of nights. Still yet to add SII and RGB stars but have really enjoyed getting what I can from just Ha and OIII. With this and my HOO Carina I have ended up with quite subtle 'dusty' versions, rather than something more vivid.

What a beautiful image! Great detail and an unusual but extremely appealing colour palette. RGB stars will top this off - not sure I'd bother with SII(?)

Thanks Mark. Getting some SII as I type this. Let’s see what it does!! From what I can see so far it rims all the bright features.

Ben another one! You kicked this one right out of the park!

An amazingly sharp and detailed image and I love the colour palette.

Mate, you are on a huge roll here.

This is a reference image.

Greg.

Thanks Marc and Greg. Really chuffed that you like it :-) Processing has actually got a lot simpler in terms of processes used (in PI) but I’ve worked out how to tweak some of the cool bits!

I agree with everyone's comments...this is seriously good...I look forward to a blend with RGB stars.

Cheers,
