Eyepiece case query

Hi crew, I've just bought a case from Bintel (have been using one of my wifes craft boxes for years) and wonder do you guys keep them in there with the caps on or do you store the caps and just keep them in there with no caps?
Cheers Richard.

I purchased Bintel’s eyepiece case years ago. I keep all my eyepieces with caps on both ends and in some cases, in small plastic bags with a desiccant sachet. Definitely keep the caps on to stop dust or damage to the lenses.

Others may have different advice.

Caps on as well.

One thing to consider is that one side of the eyepiece will be sealed once you put the cap on. The desiccant in the box won't do a thing to prevent fungus on that side. So I always let the gear dry out the next day before the caps go on (especially for a longer storage during the cloudy/rainy periods).
