Moon-Saturn

A neat conjunction in progress now with the Moon passing Saturn about 1 lunar diameter (from here) to the north. Worth a look.

Yes, it was a pretty sight here in the pre-dawn twilight. The gap between the two had widened a little from the closest approach.
There is a similar close conjunction of the Moon and Venus tomorrow morning. The closest approach point occurs just after sunrise here in Tinderbox.

It was cloudy this morning (Bellingen near Coffs Harbor).
