new city near Noonamah NT

Hi All, at risk of sounding obsessive or pedantic I just wanted to correct the name for the new City that will be built near Noonamah in around 4-5 years time. It is actually called Weddell (not Wadell) and will hopefully be one of the first eco-friendly green cities to be built inthe NT.

No, it's Waddle, named after the aforementioned seals gait.

Cheers,
Jason.

So Waddle's a green city? interesting, perhaps they'll keep the bloody light pollution down too.
Darwin & Palmerston wreck the western sky with thier halo of light, I'd hate to loose the southern sky as well.

I suppose there will come a day where every 'serious' amateur astronomer will move to the far side of the moon to get away from a brightly glowing, neon-sign planet.

But hey it's good for the economy.

Ha ha ha, then the moon will have a glowing halo from all the notebooks, head torches and LED's around there.
