Saturn 24th & 26th March 2017 C8i

I'm starting to image Saturn in the early morning hours when the clouds part. Early days yet but it looks promising.

Taken with the Celestron Nexstar 8i, focal extension tubes, ZWO ASI224MC with UV/IR cut filter.

5 minute videos taken. PIPP for getting the better 5000 frames from a 10000+ frame video, stacked in Autostakkert. Registax for wavelets and the final edit in PaintDotNet.

First image 1000 frames, second image 750 frames.

Great images. In Norway Saturn won't reach reasonable latitudes for some years.
