NGC253 The Sculptor Galaxy

Sometimes it is nice to show a galaxy in the context of its star field, rather then close up.

One hundred 60-second images captured with Sharpcap and PHD2, stacked with Nebulosity and post-processed with Photoshop.

Tim
That’s a lovely image of NGC 253 with your equipment
Well done!
NGC 253 and NGC 300 are still on my list for September
NGC 6744 Pavo Galaxy is also a great target which I captured back in June and July
Galaxies don’t get posted that often as I suppose they don’t hit observers with the “Wow” factor plus they are dim buggers and not easy to image , but I really enjoy imaging them
Good on you !!
