Helix in a little scope

I'd normally use the bigger refractor for this, but the 61edph was already imaging and I grabbed 4x9 minutes last night, partly to test out longer exposures.

Nice work Tony. I’m capturing this on my C9.25. I had a go last year on my C5 without guiding so I’m hoping for a much better result this time around.

Well done

Thanks Martin, the 9 minute subs help. I've slowly been moving to longer exposures - it's surprising what the dslr can do in winter - lights only too.

Looking forward to the 9.25 version Ryan
