I wish they would not use cats in these experiments why not mice..
I know little about quantum physics but it would seem describing trillions of particles is very difficult mathematically.
I often think physics shelved the aether because it would be impossible to describe mathematically at a quantum level. The more we learn raises more questions.

I guess using cats in a thought experiment is ok...

Ah, but how do you know there IS a cat in box in the first place ? It may be a mouse. That's the beauty of quantum theory. Theoreticaly it could be a cat, but then again it could be a mouse. Or an elephant.

It just gave me the best explanation of Quantum theory I heard of. And the relationship with the 'real' world. Still doesn't explain entanglement.

I do not think the quantum world is mysterious it is just that we think it is mysterious.
We don't know what happens and although we have theories they may not describe reality...what ever that is.
Entanglement what is really going on there..Is there entanglement in string theory.
Maybe it's that dam cat who caused entanglement..cats love string also.

That was interesting.
I nevertheless dislike nice.
They destroyed my 12 inch primary mirror with urine, also chewed fuel lines in my car costing$700 in repair and towing the car to town.
I don't like them around also because they bring in snakes in my opinion.

I catch them with a beer bottle over a barrel, stick food in the opening and they slip trying to get it.
I try to be humane by releasing them elsewhere but I never though of the fact they could be mothers..I feel sad that my ignorance probably destroyed little lives.
