Mimosa and the Jewel Box

Well there is a bit of the coal sack too. This is a test image trying to verify the capabilities of a portable setup. This is unguided using a

Star Adventurer with a WO 66D and 0.8x FR with an Olympus OMD10 E5 mkii mirrorless SLR. It is not bad considering it was taken under a full moon from Forest Lodge where the LP is horrid. I used ISO 800 and 60s, perhaps I should have used lower iso.

A bit hard to evaluate on the low res image but the star shapes are not too shabby. We can see the star colours coming through and the background level looks ok. I’m thinking that ISO 800 and 60s might be just about right for this object and your location. Maybe a tweak on the focus but a bit hard to tell. A nice one for your test image John.
