Thumbs up Brian May honoured

I was just handed a cutting from the April edition of Eos magazine.

Brian May was awarded the 2019 Athelstan Spilhaus Award at the AGU (American Geophysical Union) Fall Meeting Honors Ceremony, held on 11 December 2019 in San Francisco, Calif. The award is given “for the enhancement of the public engagement with Earth and space sciences through devoting portions of their career conveying to the general public the excitement, significance, and beauty of Earth and space science.”
