meade lx50 8" SCT package
I have gone in a different direction with a new scope and wish to clear the decks, so I have decided to sell this stuff rather than let it sit in a cupboard and be neglected
I am selling this as a package and will not split it. This is reflected in the price. If you are only interested in some pieces then buy the lot and sell on what you don't require.
Meade LX 50 8" with fork mount, Meade tripod, Meade equatorial wedge. This has been my scope for about 10 years, but lately not getting much use.
The scope has been kept inside the house, in OTA original box with solid foam rubber interior as supplied by the factory and is in excellent condition. There are no marks on the OTA or fork that I can see.
Tripod has also been stored the house and is in excellent condition.
Meade Equatorial Wedge is well preserved and only some minor paint wear. The scope comes with all cables, Meade guide scope with mount and hand controller (Magellan II) The scope is a "push to", but obviously can be de-forked and placed on a goto mount.
Included with the scope are;
1/Boxed set of Meade eyepieces 6mm,12mm,17mm,20mm and 25mm)never used. Meade right angle adapter and Meade illuminated reticle eyepiece
2/Full sized telrad
3/Sunfilter for 8 " SCT
4/Collimator
5/losmandy plate and ota mounts to suit 8"SCT
6/ A Bosma beta RE 3.15" f/6.3 refractor with soft packing/carry bag
7/ A pair of 130mm scope rings
8/ A 240 volt - 12v adaptor
9/ celestron reducer/corrector f6.3 model 94175
10/ Camera/phone mount as well as a universal camera adaptor
11/ Orion starshoot solar system colour imager IV
12/ Hard shell aluminium case with adjustable interior to carry lots of bits and pieces
